About Yume

​

Yume is an author of speculative fiction. Her books include: The Deep Sky, The Stardust Grail, and Saltcrop (Flatiron Books/Harper Voyager UK) and one forthcoming: Envoy (Tor/Harper Voyager UK) in 2027. 
​​

She is Japanese and American and grew up in a space between two cultures -- the same space where her stories reside.

​​

She graduated from Stuyvesant High School and Princeton University and lives in Brooklyn with two cats, Boondoggle and Filibuster.
